Raspberry Clafoutis 🍰

Well Hello Cutie Pies.

Today i wanted to share with you this really yummy raspberry clafoutis recipe. It's really delicious, really sweet and slightly sour with each raspberry bite.

Before i get to the recipe i just wanted to tell you, please always read the recipe thoroughly  and never take action before reading the whole recipe, because you might miss the slightest detail that could completely change the result. However much you find the recipe long and boring to read, remember the person is trying to let you get the bestest results out of the recipe by explaining and giving tips and details.

Now on to the recipe :

A batch of raspberries
2 eggs
70g of sugar
7g of vanilla sugar
20g melted butter
100ml milk
80g of flour

Originally this was a recipe that called for apples but i decided to try raspberries instead. Preheat your oven to 170°C or 338°F. So you want to mix all the ingredients together and there you go your batter is ready.

(It should have the consistency of a crepe batter)

Take a clafoutis pan or whatever small sized pan butter it and lay some parchment paper in the bottom of the pan. I buttered the parchment as well to make the raspberries stay still. Then i layed the raspberries in circles.

At first i kept some space between them thinking the batch won't be enough but i ended up having leftovers so i filled the empty spaces with some more raspberries.

Pour the batter on top of your aligned raspberries and pop your clafoutis in the oven, bake it for 40 minutes.

And you should have something that looks like this:

You see the raspberries have released their juice to moisturize the batter and just when you open the oven door the fruity smell hits you. But we're not done yet, you want to cover the pain with aluminium foil and pop it back in the oven for another 10 minutes. And then your Calfoutis is Done!

The thickness of your clafoutis depends on the size of the pan, but remember for this recipe you only need small pans. You can eat it while still lukewarm or cold, i personnaly like it cold better. I hope you enjoyed the recipe and if you try it let me know how it turned out for you or what fruits you used.

Bonne AppΓ©tit Lovelies ♡
